Yadegar Asisi wishes to encourage people to look around in wonder with the help of cultural visual experiences, thus promoting and training the conscious power of vision. The new visual culture will encourage an improved and lasting power of vision and understanding of the world to develop.

Asisi Visual Culture stands for cultivated vision as a personally experienced source of knowledge, providing the basis for an active life. It is centred on the rediscovery of our traditional culture of seeing, which we seem to have lost; the oldest form of perceiving, reflecting and interpreting what we experience.

In our modern multimedia age, we are overloaded with imagery based on passive visual consumption. Asisi Visual Culture helps people to return to their own personal experiences. The conscious analysis of the visual process and what is happening leaves room for personal reflection, the power to act and to take our lives into our hands in the present and in the future.
