Planning your visit
In order to explore the 360° panorama »1756 Dresden« and the exhibition at your leisure, we advise you to plan around two hours for your visit.
The accompanying exhibition is in two languages: German and English.
Hire of binoculars / audio guides
So that you do not miss a single detail of our panorama, binoculars and audio-guides are available for hire at the Panometer cash desk. (Identity card with photograph or the DREWAG customer card must be left as a deposit)

Directions
- By suburban railway no. S1 or S2: to Bahnhof Dresden-Reick.
- By bus no. 74: to Nätherstraße.
- By tram no. 1 or 2: to Liebstädter Straße.
- By car: In Dresden towards Pirnaischer Platz, follow the signs »Gläserne VW-Manufaktur« on Grunaer Straße, continue along Stübelallee, after the end of the Großer Garten turn right into Karcher-Allee, turn left into Winterbergstraße at the first set of traffic lights, at the second set of traffic lights take the second right turning into Gasanstaltstraße.
- By coach: See directions for cars … at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Liebstädter Straße, follow this road onto the Panometer grounds (cul-de-sac). Drive through the gate in front of the barrier at the left.
- Ample turning space for buses.
Parking
Ample parking spaces are available free of charge in our visitors’ car park, opposite the main entrance.

- Dresden City Card for adults: 1 € reduction
- Dresden City Card for families: 2 € reduction on the Panometer family ticket
- Dresden Region Card for adults: 1 € reduction
- Happy Dinner Premium Card Dresden: two entrance tickets for the price of one (years 2009/2010) oder for the price of 15 € (years 2010 / 2011).

Fridays: reduced prices for students and trainees
Baroque Dresden – a myth to be unveiled. Travel back in time to the royal seat of Saxony – for an extremely low price. Every Friday, students and trainees are admitted to the asisi Panometer for only 5 €.
Just show your pass at the cash desk and off you go!
(Admittance up to 1 hour before closing time, hours of opening may vary when special events are being held.)

Public guided tours of »1756 Dresden«
Follow our tour guides on an entertaining walk through baroque Dresden. Find out all kinds of valuable information about daily life in the year 1756 (not on Mondays).
Price: 2 € per person (in addition to admission fee)
Times: daily at 11am, 2 pm and 3 pm
Duration: ca. 30 minutes
Foreign-language tours of »1756 Dresden«
Visitors from America, or entertaining friends from France? Guided tours are available in English and French.
Price of foreign-language tours: 40 € (for up to a maximum of 25 people, in addition to regular entrance fee)

Baroque banquets
A cup of hot chocolate or coffee was considered a royal treat in the baroque age. Spoil yourself with noble pleasures at our Panometer bistro, next to the auditorium.
We serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, freshly-baked cakes and soup of the day.
Our bistro team will be pleased to answer any questions you may have concerning our catering service.
