Planning your visit
In order to explore the 360° panorama AMAZONIA and the exhibition at your leisure, we advise you to plan around two hours for your visit.
The accompanying exhibition is in two languages: German and English.

Panometer special service
In addition to our usual Panometer programme, we will be happy to put together a special plan to suit your individual requirements, making your visit to the asisi Panometer Leipzig an unforgettable experience.

A special gift – an asisi gift token
Are you looking for a special present for friends, partners or members of the family? Ask our staff at the cash desk to show you our gift tokens for a visit to the 360° panoramas or one of our special thematic guided tours.

• By tram No 9 (towards Markkleeberg-West): to Richard- Lehmann-Str./Arthur-Hoffmann-Str.
• By car from the A 14 (from the north): take the exit Leipzig Messe, B2, towards Chemnitz to Leipzig Süd/Connewitz
• By car from the A 38 (from the south): take the exit Leipzig Markkleeberg, B2, towards Leipzig Zentrum, exit at Richard-Lehmann-Straße/MDR Media City

There is sufficient turning space for buses.

Parking
Ample parking spaces are available free of charge in our car park for visitors, opposite the main entrance.

No charge for bus drivers and tourist guides.

Reductions with customer cards and/or membership cards:

• Leipzig-card holders: adults receive a reduction of 1 € on an individual entrance ticket.
• Happy-Dinner Premium-Card Leipzig: two entrance tickets for the price of one from 5pm onwards.
• GEO subscribers: 50 % reductions (the following must be shown at the cash desk: either a membership card showing the address of the subscriber or the membership card and a bank transfer form showing that the GEO subscription has been paid for and that the visitor is a subscriber.

Fridays: special reductions for students and trainees.
A journey to the Brazilian Rainforest, following in the footsteps of Alexander von Humboldt – for an extremely low price.

Every Friday, students and trainees are admitted to the asisi Panometer for only 5 €.
Just show your pass at the cash desk and off you go!

(Admittance up to 1 hour before closing time, hours of opening may vary when special events are being held.)

Exciting moments in an exotic world

On an individual basis or in groups with your family, friends and acquaintances – our tour guides will take you on a fascinating expedition to the magical world of Amazonia. Visit the wonderful world of the Brazilian Rainforest – not only as a listener, but as an explorer or scholar.

Foreign-language tours of AMAZONIA

Visitors from America, or entertaining friends from France? Guided tours are available in English, French and Russian.

Fees for foreign-language tours: 40 € (for up to a maximum of 25 people, in addition to entrance fee)
Appointments: by prior arrangement
Duration: ca. 40 minutes

Jungle refreshments

You are welcome to visit our Panometer bistro in the glass foyer before or after your long walk through AMAZONIA.
Try out the range of culinary delights from our lunch menu which changes daily, or our freshly baked cakes and delicious drinks.

Anniversary celebrations

Would you like to celebrate your birthday in the tropical rainforest? No problem – we will be pleased to organise a special event for you and your guests in the Panometer bistro.
