Weekend course with Prof. Yadegar Asisi
»Once you have drawn an object, you will really understand it.« Yadegar Asisi
In this weekend course, Prof. Asisi gave a thorough insight into the basic rules of three-dimensional drawing and perspective.
The course began with a practically orientated introduction to the vanishing point and focal planes. Participants then applied their newly acquired knowledge in their own constructions and freehand drawing.
The workshop was limited to a small group of 10 participants, ensuring a high level of supervision. The course is foreseen for anyone of 18 years and over who is interested in taking up drawing at a more advanced level. Existing skills, e.g. from the study of art, design, architecture or teacher training, are desirable, or alternatively personal experience of drawing with pencil and paper.
